Mentoring 

Mentorship is pivotal in medical school, providing invaluable guidance and support to aspiring healthcare professionals navigating a rigorous academic and clinical journey. Throughout my six years as a mentor, I have had the privilege of mentoring over 32 mentees, each experience reinforcing the profound impact mentorship can have. From offering advice on study techniques and career paths to providing emotional support during challenging times, mentorship fosters personal growth and professional development. It is a reciprocal relationship that empowers mentees and enriches mentors' understanding and passion for medicine. As I reflect on these experiences, I am reminded of the transformative power of mentorship in shaping the future of healthcare. 

99% of my mentees have successfully matched for categorical residencies on their first attempt, covering disciplines such as surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, ophthalmology, and orthopedic surgery.
