Mastering Anatomical Techniques

Mastering Anatomical Techniques was the first anatomy educational program implemented in Puerto Rico and designed for medical students. This program offered an intensive clinical and research immersion experience for second—and third-year medical students, allowing them to mentor and tutor first-year students during the Human Gross and Developmental Anatomy (HGDA) course. This provided participating students with various academic and professional development opportunities essential to pursuing a medical career.
Seeds of Success is a project which brings middle and/or high school girls closer to careers in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) and empowers them to practice their leadership skills and become STEM ambassadors in their communities.
METAS is a comprehensive and experimental research project to evaluate the efficacy of the coaching strategy in preparing Latino undergraduate students for a successful transition to graduate programs in biomedical sciences.
